Third Thursday Reading Series

The Mercer University Writers’ Hub presents the Third Thursday Reading Series to showcase the literary arts at Mercer.

The series hosts a variety of events from student and faculty readings to talks by visiting writers on the third Thursday of each full month of the academic year. Recent guests have included Gwen Kirby, Tiphanie Yanique, Christina Olson, and Sidik Fofana.

• January 23: Sanjena Sathian, Mercer’s Ferrol A. Sams, Jr. Distinguished Chair of English
• February 20: Sidik Fofana
  
• March 13: Coyote Balderrama-Shook (held in the Presidents’ Dining Room)
• April 17: David Bottoms Poetry Prizewinners and Special Guest

All events are held in Connell Student Center Conference Room 1 at 6 p.m.
